Maddy is a stand-up comedian and owner of her own comedy club. All is well until her wife of ten years dies in a sudden and unforeseen accident. Maddy then loses the will to perform and her club declines because of this. When her brother re-enters her life, it begins a series of events that bring her to her knees. Drowning in depression, she must find the will within to just keep going.

"Butterflies..." is a high school, teen-drama, and is adapted from the young adult novel, "Party", written by award-winning author, Tom Leveen.
